Why have hate crime laws if they aren't enforced? Three San Jose State University Students used a slew of racial slurs against a black student and choked him with a bike chain but an all white jury found them not guilty of a hate crime, which is a felony. Joseph Bomgardner, Logan Beaschler, Colin Warren, 21, and both 20, all got away with a hate crime. San Jose, SF, Oakland and the Bay Area clearly have race problems.
