Hey CNN, YouTube Ignored Political Vloggers For Obama Interview

Hey CNN, YouTube Ignored Political Vloggers For Obama Interview Hi Rosemary, Errol, and Jake, I just watched Mr. Tapper's great piece on the YouTube Stars who will be interviewing President Obama. I must inform you that YouTube has given up on promoting political vloggers, who should be in the room with The President. Not to "hate" on the talented vloggers who are going, but I am on the White House Press List and have covered two Democratic National Conventions, and two Presidential Inaugurations. All this and more and yet YouTube did not contact me. Moreover, the Young Turks, the largest news and politics channel on YouTube at 1.7 billion views, was not contacted either. (My Zennie62 Channel has 60 million lifetime views but I also have an 80 blog network and am on the CNN iReport.) The other point is that many channels have views and subscribers that are inflated far beyond the level where a person should have known of them. It makes it hard to keep up without even considering doing that or joining a network. Then YouTube takes up the work of trying to make the celebrity of its YouTubers match their lofty numbers, and leaves us in further in the background in the process. YouTube should take care of its political vloggers. In many cases we know almost as much about the Obama White House as CNN's beat reporters. Moreover, YouTube would be seen as putting a serious foot forward, just as it did when it worked with CNN to produce the CNN / YouTube Democratic Debates that I was on in 2007. Someone at CNN should ask YouTube why it's ignoring it's political vloggers. Thanks!
