Ndamukong Suh Steps On Rogers Ankle NFL Suspends Suh. Detroit Lions Defensive Tackle Ndamukong Suh stepped on Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rogers Ankle during the Lions v Packers game on Sunday. Suh has drawn and suspension from the NFL. And this is the press release from the league: Defensive tackle NDAMUKONG SUH of the Detroit Lions has been suspended without pay for this Sunday’s Wild Card playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys for a violation of safety-related playing rules in last Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. In the fourth quarter with Packers quarterback AARON RODGERS on the ground in a defenseless posture, Suh backed up and stepped on Rodgers’ left leg with his right foot. He then stepped on Rodgers’ left leg again, this time with his left foot, applying pressure and unnecessarily pushing off Rodgers’ unprotected leg with his left foot, violating playing rules prohibiting unnecessary roughness. The suspension was imposed by NFL Vice President of Football Operations MERTON HANKS. Hanks ruled that Suh engaged in a non-football act which placed his opponent, Rodgers, at unnecessary risk of injury – specifically the second step and push off, which could have been avoided. In his letter to Suh, Hanks noted, “You did not respond in the manner of someone who had lost his balance and accidentally contacted another player who was lying on the ground. This illegal contact, specifically the second step and push off with your left foot, clearly could have been avoided.” Hanks further noted “you unnecessarily stepped on your opponent’s unprotected leg as he lay on the ground unable to protect himself.” Suh will not be permitted to attend team meetings and functions; attend or watch practices; appear at the club’s facilities for any reason; attend press conferences; appear at the team’s January 4 game, or have contact with any club personnel except to arrange off-site medical treatment or rehabilitation. Suh will be reinstated on Monday, January 5. Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the suspension may be appealed within three business days. Appeals are heard and decided by either DERRICK BROOKS or TED COTTRELL, the officers jointly appointed and compensated by the NFL and NFLPA to decide appeals of on-field player discipline. Mark Davis No Oakland Raiders Move To LA, But. Mark Davis doesn't plan to move The Oakland Raiders to LA. But he is pissed off with what he calls being "ping ponged" between City of Oakland and County of Alameda. That refers to the fact that both entities are not working as one to build Coliseum City. So when the Coliseum City Developers say they want to use properties that are currently owned by the County of Alameda, the County never gets the word and so that land is sold to someone else rather than banked. On the matter of the stadium itself Davis said that he likes the San Francisco 49ers new stadium, saying that it's pretty. While many reporters have San Francisco 49ers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh out the door and headed to Michigan after today's game against the Arizona Cardinals, Fox Sports Jay Glazer reports that the matter is not a done deal. Moreover, Jay says the Raiders want him. The problem is even if The Raiders do want Harbaugh they still have to go through the Rooney Rule process and interview a minority (black) prospect for the job. So that could yield a person the Raiders like better than Harbaugh. But the fact is nothing has been signed or officially done. The Interview - The Interview Movie Review - See It The Interview is a good movie that is a daring comedy work. It takes our image of North Korean Dictator Kim Jung Un that was crafted for us by Dennis Rodman during his visits and amplifies it. To say that it was an insulting portrait of Kim Jung Un would be an understatement. The ending of the movie and what he does is one of the most incredible plot twists in political cinema. You have to see it for yourself. Hats off to Seth Rogen and James Franco. They should also thank the Sony Hackers because were it not for their threats, I may have waited for The Interview to hit cable. I would have missed a hell of a funny movie that takes the term "over the top" to new levels. It also actually broke news with Eminem saying he was gay and in the process blurred the line between fantasy and reality. Stay tuned.

Antonio Martin Berkeley Shooting Update - Martin Had Gun In order to get to the bottom of the Antonio Brown Berkeley Shooting I looked at the videos that were posted from the security cameras at the gas station and as posted by St Louis Police. The videos seem to show a man who pointed what the police say was a gun at the officer. But before that the officer was making a stop into the parking lot of the station and blocked the path of a group of people. The person who was Martin was not with them but was off to the left. He was the officer's focus. The videos in combination show that Martin pointed his arm at the officer. The officer opened fire and the man in the white pants recoiled and then ran off. So Berkeley police did not do anything wrong here but not have the body cam or dash can activated. That is a problem. I also hope these videos were not photoshopped in any way. I will assume they were not tampered with. My apology to CNN's Georgia Howell but I think all sides of the story should be told. The initial story was a witness said that he saw Martin skilled and Martin had no gun. But it looks like Martin did have a gun. Sad story.
Anthony Martin Update CNN George Howell Wrong. CNN's George Howell gave an account of the Anthony Martin murder that was full of shit. He only quoted the St Louis County Police who said the video shows a gun being pointed. That guy is by the police officer and not Anthony Martin. Howell also failed to report that Anthony Martin's friend Jesus was right there and said that they shot his friend and that it was because he failed to follow the cops orders. George also did not say that the police officer had a body camera that was turned off! The Guadian UK got it right. CNN needs to stop this crap. Get the story right or don't tell it at all.

Antonio Martin Another Black Male Killed Near Ferguson. Antonio Martin became yet another young black male killed by a police officer and this time with not only conflicting accounts, but a witness who gave an account reporting Martin as unarmed, when the police officer said he was. Ironically, it was in Berkeley, MO, near Ferguson. The officer was reportedly wearing a body camera but it was really low and at belt buckle. The problem occurred at a gas station where it's possible that cameras were present. Other sad reports are that Antonio was not immediately dead but it took 30 minutes for an ambulance to come to his aide: he died. All of this is making Twitter explode.
United Airlines New Gate Design At O'Hare Airport. I happened by United Airlines Gate B10 and noticed that there was a brand new gate interior design. The agent there said that it was a beta test. But, to me, it looks a lot like the gates at the new San Francisco Terminal. The new layout features an ultra modern bright blue color and "one piece" look, and white and a special area for laptop computer work. Whatever the case, I hope United keeps the new gate design. It's cool!

It was an amazing play out of a passing set and started with Colin back to pass. Seeing his protection start to break down and noticing a hole opening he could run though, Kaepernick did just that. Colin juked one defender and then outraced the Chargers Offense to the endzone. The touchdown came just after Kaepernick fumbled the football and it was picked up and recovered by the Chargers to score. That made it 28 to 21 Chargers. Two NYPD Police Officers were ambushed and killed in Brooklyn. They were reportedly just in their cars when the suspect opened fire on them. This is undoubtedly related to the protests against police violence that have gone on in the wake of the murders of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Tamir Rice. But that does not justify those actions of killing cops one bit. Stay tuned.

It does not matter that Jay Cutler or Jimmy Clausen is starting for The Chicago Bears - the problem is Bears Head Coach Marc Tresman. Willie McGinest of The NFL Network said that last year the Bears had the league's fifth ranked office. But that was last year. What happens is that people form a book on what you do and so plays that worked at a particular time last year will not work the same way the next year. To expect they will is just stupid. Tresman never rolled out Jay Cutler or did a number of things that would keep him safe. Stay tuned.
